1. Responsibility and contact
SharkRule, a software project operated from Switzerland, is responsible for processing described here. The operator’s full legal name and postal address have not yet been published and remain to be completed. For privacy questions and rights requests, email privacy@sharkrule.com. You can also contact support@sharkrule.com. This policy describes the current website; it does not assume that future account, billing or trading features are already operating.
2. Waitlist and messages you send
When you register, we store your email address, selected language, registration time and the time a confirmation email was successfully sent. That last field records sending, not proof that you opened the message or verified your address. The service checks for an existing entry to avoid duplicate registration and unnecessary repeat confirmations.
We use these details to manage early access and send the confirmation and launch or access information you requested. If you email us, we process your address, message and any information you choose to provide to handle that request. You may decline registration and still read the site. An email address is necessary if you want to join the list.
3. Website delivery and security
When your browser requests a page or submits the form, hosting and network systems process technical information such as IP address, request time, URL, browser information and response or error details. Logs can help deliver the site, investigate faults and prevent misuse. The waitlist record itself is not a trading profile and does not contain a wallet address or trading history.
4. Optional analytics and browser storage
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose to accept analytics. It can process page views, referral information, device or browser information, approximate location, cookie identifiers and interaction events. Google receives technical connection information, including your IP address, when its service is contacted. Our signup tracking sends event and language information, not the waitlist email field. Avoid including personal information in page URLs.
We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage so it applies across the site. This preference storage is separate from optional Google Analytics cookies. Analytics cookies may remain until their expiry or until deleted; your stored preference remains until changed or browser site data is cleared. Blocking browser storage may prevent us from remembering your choice, and analytics will remain off if we cannot read permission.
Use Analytics settings in any page footer to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting after accepting stops subsequent analytics collection from that page and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies; an already loaded page may reload to apply the change. It cannot recall data already sent. Clear site data in your browser to remove stored preferences. Choosing analytics is optional and does not affect waitlist access.
Allow Reddit marketing measurement
With your separate marketing consent, the Reddit Pixel measures page visits and successful new waitlist registrations for advertising attribution. It does not run before this choice, including when you previously accepted analytics. We do not provide your email, phone number, wallet address or other account identifiers to Reddit and do not use advanced matching. The standard pixel can process browser and referral information, the page URL, IP address and its own cookie identifiers. You can withdraw marketing consent in Cookie settings; this stops future tracking and removes accessible Reddit cookies. Reddit may process information internationally under its privacy policy.
In Cookie settings, “Allow analytics” controls Google Analytics and “Allow advertising measurement” controls the Reddit Pixel. These are separate optional permissions; neither provider loads before its permission is saved.
5. Purposes and applicable legal grounds
We use signup details for the early-access communications you request and your consent where consent is required. Optional analytics relies on your choice to accept. Where the GDPR applies, our legitimate interests in delivering and protecting the website and answering inquiries support necessary technical processing and support handling, subject to your rights. We may also process information to comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We do not treat acceptance of website terms as blanket consent.
6. Providers and other recipients
Amazon Web Services supplies hosting infrastructure. Resend delivers the confirmation email and processes the recipient address, message and delivery information. Google receives analytics information only when you enable its tag. Authorized people operating SharkRule and the providers needed for these tasks may access relevant information. Provider policies and processing terms are linked below.
We do not sell the waitlist or supply its email addresses to advertisers. The current site has no advertising pixels or session-replay tool. Information may be disclosed when lawfully required, or as necessary to investigate misuse and protect legal rights. We do not give Polymarket your waitlist entry just because you visit SharkRule. External links take you to independently operated websites with their own policies.
7. Processing across borders
The project operates from Switzerland and uses international providers. Resend’s published processing terms identify the United States as its primary processing location; Google and AWS also operate internationally, including in the United States. Data may therefore be processed outside your country. Actual locations depend on the service and its subprocessors; the provider links below explain their arrangements.
Transfers subject to data-protection law require an appropriate legal basis, such as a recognized adequate destination or contractual safeguards. Resend’s published data-processing addendum includes standard contractual clauses and Swiss adaptations. You can ask privacy@sharkrule.com for information about the arrangements relevant to your data. This policy does not promise exclusive storage in Switzerland or a particular provider certification.
8. How long information is kept
We keep waitlist information while it is needed for the prelaunch and early-access programme, unless you request removal earlier or a legal obligation requires retention. Support and security records are kept according to the need to resolve inquiries, investigate incidents and meet legal obligations. We delete data no longer needed or make it non-identifying; there is no promise that every category has the same retention period.
Removal requests may require action in the email provider as well as SharkRule’s records. Limited records may need to remain to respect an opt-out, handle a dispute or comply with law. Copies in backups may persist until those backups are replaced. Cookie lifetime and Google’s retention of analytics information are distinct from waitlist retention; contact us for details about data already collected.
9. Your choices and rights
Email privacy@sharkrule.com to leave the waitlist, stop requested updates or ask about access, correction or deletion. Where applicable law provides them, you may also request portability, restriction or objection to processing, and withdraw consent. Withdrawal affects future consent-based processing without making earlier lawful processing unlawful. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm that a request concerns your data; do not send identity documents unless a secure and necessary verification step has been agreed.
We will handle requests within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful limitation. You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or your competent local authority. The current waitlist does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
10. Security, children and future changes
HTTPS protects information in transit, and access controls restrict administrative access. No internet service can promise complete security. Do not send financial credentials or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request. We do not request seed phrases or private keys, and the current site does not collect payment details or trading authorizations.
Early access is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Contact us if a child has supplied personal information so we can address it. If the service changes, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent mechanism required before materially different processing begins. A new policy alone will not turn an existing waitlist entry into consent for unrelated marketing or trading.
